How do I convert a Japanese address to English?+
Paste the address with its 7-digit postal code. The tool looks up the romanized prefecture, city and town from Japan Post data, then keeps the block number and puts the building name on address line 2.
How do I convert a Chinese address to English?+
Paste the full address. Province, city and district are converted to their usual English names, and street, community and building names are written in pinyin with the Road, Building, Unit and Room words translated.
Why is the order different from the original address?+
Chinese and Japanese addresses go from large to small (province, city, street). English forms go from small to large (street, city, province, postal code, country). The tool reverses the order for you.
Is the result accurate enough for shipping?+
It is meant to help you fill forms quickly. Chinese place names have no single official English spelling, and building names written in kanji are kept as written. For important parcels, confirm the address with the recipient.
Is my address stored or sent anywhere?+
